Walking Tours - A trip to Edinburgh isn't complete without breathing in the sights up close, on foot.

There are two options we recommend.

  • Sandemans NewEdinburgh   - FREE TOUR!!! These guys are something else. Well established in rest of Europe's awesome cities, they really know what they are doing. Tours leave twice a day (1100 & 1300) outside the starbucks on the Tron Square / Royal Mile. The tours take about 3 hour.

  • Edinburgh Castle - The city's most famous landmark! Tickets availible from Art Roch Reception.
  • The Scotch Whiskey Experience - If you don't have the time for a full blown whiskey trail around Scotland. This place is next best thing. you will learn everything from birth to bottling of Scotland's National Drink!
  • The Loch Ness Experience - If you dont have time to get up north to hunt "nessie", you can get on the trail in this 3D - tour of the Loch. Ideal for Kids.
  • Scottish Parliament - Scotland's most expensive building. Free tours around the public areas are great. well worth a look if you are a fan of Architecture.
  • Palace of Holyrood - Her Majesty's official residence when visiting Edinburgh. Beautiful building, interior and grounds. The multi language audio tour will take you through the rooms and corridors of this majestic building.
  • Our Dynamic Earth - Situated behind the parliament building at the foot of salisbery crags, this futuristic building is a fantastic place to chill out for a day.Follow the way through the various ages from the big bang to the ice age.
  • The Royal Yacht Britannia - The Royal Families' private ship, retired a few years ago. Now a fantastic attraction with a great restaurant.
